Welcome to RecFloo ("App", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal privacy. This Privacy Policy governs your access to and use of the RecFloo mobile application.
By installing, accessing, or using RecFloo, you signify that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, please immediately cease use and uninstall the App from your device.
We operate under a strict privacy-by-design model:
Zero Personal Information Collection: We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell personally identifiable information (PII) such as your legal name, physical address, phone number, or contacts.
On-Device Data Architecture: All screen captures, video recordings, audio streams, trims, edits, and watermark assets created within RecFloo are processed 100% locally on your device hardware.
No Remote Server Storage: Your video files, audio tracks, and recordings are never transmitted, mirrored, or backed up to our servers or any cloud infrastructure controlled by us.
To operate its core screen-capture and video editing features, RecFloo requests specific runtime Android permissions. These permissions are strictly utilized on-device:
Screen Capture (MediaProjection): Initiates capture of on-screen visual activity only when you explicitly tap "Start Recording".
Audio Recording (RECORD_AUDIO): Captures microphone audio or internal system sounds only when audio recording is toggled on.
Storage & Media Access (READ_MEDIA_VIDEO / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Reads existing files for studio editing and saves finished MP4 files to your device storage (e.g., DCIM/ScreenRecording).
Overlay (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Displays floating control bubbles, real-time annotation brush tools, and countdown prompts over other applications.
Post Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Delivers foreground recording status and controls in Android 13+.
While the developer does not harvest user data, RecFloo integrates trusted third-party SDKs to support ongoing application development and display advertisements:
Google AdMob & Google Play Services: Third-party vendors, including Google, utilize unique device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID), cookies, and mobile analytics to serve contextual or personalized advertisements based on user interactions.
Opt-Out & Privacy Preferences: You can manage or reset your advertising preferences and opt out of personalized interest-based advertising via your device settings:
Android: Settings $\rightarrow$ Google $\rightarrow$ Ads $\rightarrow$ Delete/Reset Advertising ID.

User Data Sovereignty: Because all recordings and project outputs reside locally on your physical storage, you maintain total ownership and control over your files.
Manual File Deletion: You may permanently delete individual recorded videos at any time directly through the app interface or your device’s native file manager/gallery.
Uninstallation Behavior:
Files saved in standard public directories (e.g., DCIM/ScreenRecording) remain on your device storage following uninstallation until manually deleted by you.
Any cached previews, temp files, or app-specific preferences stored in internal app directories will be permanently erased by the Android OS upon uninstalling the application.
"As-Is" and "As-Available" Provision: RecFloo is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Hardware & Thermal Load: Screen recording, encoding high-bitrate video, and rendering multimedia are resource-intensive tasks. You acknowledge that sustained high-resolution encoding may temporarily increase device battery consumption or processor temperature.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:
Loss of data, corrupted video files, or interrupted captures;
Device overheating, system slowdowns, battery degradation, or hardware malfunctions;
Third-party software conflicts or operational failures caused by device-specific OS skin limitations (e.g., aggressive battery savers or overlay restrictions).
RecFloo does not knowingly target, solicit, or collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Because our application does not gather personal data, we do not intentionally process data relating to minors. If you believe a child has provided personal information to third-party ad networks through our App, please contact us immediately so we can facilitate corrective measures.
We reserve the right to revise or update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect technological adjustments, feature rollouts, or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be posted directly within this document along with an updated Effective Date. Continued use of RecFloo after such modifications constitutes your binding acceptance of the revised policy.
