A brief history
In 2018 the Enosburgh Community Recreation Committee applied for a Municipal Planning Grant on behalf of the Town of Enosburgh to prepare a revitalization plan for the Enosburgh Recreation Fields. In 2019 the Town of Enosburgh was awarded $21,700 from the Municipal Planning Grant.
The Enosburgh Recreation Fields Revitalization Plan Project engaged the community by defining a vision for a vibrant and healthy space and developed plans and an implementation program to further this vision.
The Municipal Planning Grant was administered by the Department of Housing and Community Development from the State of Vermont.

Spring/ Summer 2020: The master plan was recently adopted by the Town of Enosburgh's Selectboard. The Enosburgh Recreation Fields Revitalization Project Steering Committee now meets once a month to work on this project.
Sep 26, 2020: Thanks to funding from RiseVT and the help of community volunteers, we were able to start building Enosburgh's first gaga pit at the Recreation Fields!! Improvements to the gaga pit will continue in the Spring of 2021.
