Each page in our custom wedding album design, follows one of the major themes that took place during the wedding. So you'll have a page or two for each of the major wedding day themes. For example, there will be a page for the wedding details, bride getting ready, groom getting ready, etc. Major wedding theme ideas include the wedding ceremony, which maybe get 3-6 wedding album pages as required by the event itself. Further, our favorite wedding album page category is the Romantic portraits for weddings. Here, the strongest wedding images of the day are typically produced. We like to give them the commensurate space in the bridal album design as well. So The more we take, the more space is required or dedicated to them. For this reason, we strongly recommend additional wedding pages be added to your bridal album. We'd rather give your album design some space, and some full page images rather than being constrained to a page count, and having to cram the images together which often can get looking more like a scrapbook. Give us a call today to discuss just how many pages and how many wedding day themes will be taking place at your big day celebration.

For this spread we were able to combine ceremony and reception details because the decor and color was so consistent throughout all parts of the day. I love that we were able to highlight their live painter (a surprise gift to Kyle from Casey!) and the touch of lemons from their original wedding day.

This album prioritized a lot of dancing photos!!! These spreads are always so fun because they are high energy and we can include more photos than with portraits. To break up the images and still allow them to shine, I love having a mix of black and white with color.

First, let me just preface with the fact that I have been outsourcing my album design for the past four or five years now. While I took the time to learn and use this product myself, I do still believe in outsourcing your non-photography work. But, regardless of whether you outsource your album design or do it yourself, you want to have the best and fastest designer.

After hearing so much about Fundy's latest album designer update, I knew I had to give it a try myself. The first two times I used Fundy Designer 7, I was doing it to see if I could add one more thing onto my crazy same-day-edit routine. I knew with the Auto Design feature I could practically make the album in seconds, but could I make it and tweak it the night of a wedding?

On my first attempt, it was literally the first time I ever opened the program. I had seen a demo once and that was all I needed to give it a try myself. Everything in Designer 7 is so intuitive that there was hardly a learning curve at all. I was able to design an 80-page Couture Book wedding album and then finish off the last 14 pages after processing the second photographer's photos a week later. It only took about 20 minutes total time. Here's the final result:

The second attempt I made sure I grabbed my second shooter's photo and edited a handful of them so I could be completely done with the wedding album pre-design before we left the reception. It took just 18 minutes to design a 66-page wedding album on the spot. The best part about using the auto-design is that changing and tweaking what the program created is just as fast. It's one click or one drag to re-order images within the layout, and one click to toggle through different layout options. It makes customizing the auto-design, or making client requested changes later, an absolute breeze. You can see the final design below.

I made sure the second time I grabbed a screen flow of me using the program on second wedding. The first video is a time-lapse of the entire same day edit process. The second has just the Designer workflow sped up double speed. I do recommend giving it a quick pause right as I set up the auto-design. The program asks for your input on components like image ratios, page count, and how many images to use before pulling together a design for you in just a few seconds.

The program overall is simple, fast, clean and easy to use. There are so many features like in-program basic image black and white conversion, and in-app album ordering with popular labs like Millers Professional Imaging, plus collaging and image branding.

Version 7 is definitely a huge upgrade from previous versions and it's now a staple in my business for my graphic designer to use, either on the wedding or in the studio. And, with a price point at $299, or $119 if you're upgrading your current Fundy Designer, it should become one of yours too.

One of my favorite parts of a wedding is delivering the final album to my clients. After all the countless hours of photography, retouching, and design, there is nothing as dramatic and impactful as seeing the images in their final physical form.

I really love this page design. The horizontal line from the temple extends perfectly across both images, even though the two images are from different vantage points. The tall lines are a great contrast against the couple leaning and kissing.

Their album design is custom created from their favorite wedding day photos at their Maple Grove Evangelical Free Church wedding ceremony & their beautiful wedding reception, dinner and dance held at Interlachen Country Club!

What a great wedding day! It was filled with laughter and fun all day long. In these closing pages, we have many fun reception and dance moments that pretty much sum up the day! Lots of great people celebrating with a cute couple on their wedding day!

I've blogged about my heirloom linen covered wedding albums before and today I wanted to share two past album designs. Flipping through these spread designs is nothing like holding the real book in your hands, but it's as close as we can get via blog.

My couples receive 450-600 images from their wedding day, so choosing their favorites is often a fun challenge! Wedding galleries are up for two months after the wedding day, so during that time, they can select their favorite images and I'll design the album from those favorites.

After they see the initial design, they can swap images or make other changes, and then we're ready to print! From image selection to final approval, the album process typically takes less than a month, so by the time they've been married 3 or 4 months, they already have their wedding album in their hands! I'm all about efficiency and quick service!

And a quick turnaround means that most of my couples will have their beautiful wedding albums at family gatherings over the holidays, just a few months after their weddings! I love being part of the creation of such an important family heirloom!

When Chantelle and I did marry, we had a small ceremony in Sydney with the idea of having our reception party on the other side of the world with my family a couple of years later, so the right time to create an album took a while to present itself.

When the time came to put the design together, I chose a Vibrant Linen Cover as I like the boldness of the tones, along with the texture and feel. Using a Linen cover material also meant I could present the album in a Designer Album Box with the matching material.

I managed to surprise Chantelle with the album, and we are both over the moon with the stunning keepsake we now have. We finally have our own Wedding Album! Not only that, our daughter, whose own birth is featured in the album, loves to look through it and reminisce about moments from our lives.

We will select images based on the design style: showcase up to 4 images per spread and Heirloom up to 8 images per spread. If you submit more images outside of these parameters, you will be charge additional for image selection.

For example: if you submit 200 files for 20 spreads with Design Style: Heirloom (up to 8 images), the ordering system would require you to add image selection since we can accept a maximum of 160 images for this album.

Proofing is only available for Standard albums. Once your album is ready to proof, you will receive a direct link to your album through Album Exposure. Here you and your client can make comments on specific images, spreads, and design elements.

After the second round of revisions has been posted to Album Exposure, Evolve will reach out to confirm if the client is ready to close the album or if they wish to add additional rounds of proofing to the order. Standard albums cover the initial design and up to 2 rounds of revisions. Additional rounds of revision can be added to the order at $15/round.

All standard albums expire in 90 days. Automated reminders are sent 14 and 7 days out from the expiration date to remind you to engage with your clients. The expired album in Album Exposure will be archived.

Following the portrait session at McDougall Center, we went to Eau Claire for additional images, and these were included in the album. Then, everyone drove to Stampede Park for the reception dinner held in the Round-Up Center. This was a gala affair with over 300 guests attending. During the evening, Grachelle and John visited every tables, greeting their guests and having photos taken with every person at each table. It was obvious as we went from table to table how much-loved Grachelle and John were. Everyone made it clear by their comments and hugs that the bride and groom were highly respected in the community, and that everyone was thrilled by the marriage. 006ab0faaa
