The recall effort is a grassroots movement initiated by concerned community members to address issues of representation and accountability on the Park Ridge Board of Education.
The recall committee is founded on the belief that effective representation on the Board of Education requires active community involvement. We firmly believe that someone who is not an active member of the community cannot effectively represent it on the Board of Education.

⚖️ The Committee to Recall Robert Fisher has hired legal counsel to contest the Clerk's decision in Superior Court. Paperwork was filed Friday, Sep 5 and we are awaiting a court date.
⚖️ The Superior Court ruled in our favor, and the Park Ridge school board recall was officially back on! Robert Fisher appealed, and the appeal was denied.
🥳 On Friday, September 19, 2025, Robert Fisher officially resigned from the Park Ridge Board of Education.
Mr. Fisher is a college student who lives, works, and studies in Tennessee—approximately 900 miles away from Park Ridge.
His father recently sold their family home in the Bears Nest and now lives in Florida. He no longer calls Park Ridge "home."
To maintain the appearance of residency, he submitted a lease to the Board Administrator stating he rents a basement apartment in town for $10 per month.
Along with one other Board member, Mr. Fisher refuses to serve on committees, which places an additional workload burden on the remaining five members. You can see committee members on the PRSD website.
Mr. Fisher has missed 30% of Board meetings in 2025, including the highly attended and controversial budget meeting in May 2025. He does not regularly attend community events alongside other board members such as PRHS graduation this year.
When schools suffer, so do home prices and neighborhood appeal.
