Ramgarh Engineering College (Estd. by Govt. of Jharkhand & run by Techno India under PPP) previously known as Techno India Ramgarh and Government Engineering College, Ramgarh, established with the prior approval of All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliation of Jharkhand University of Technology, is as an institution under Public Private Partnership between the Government of Jharkhand and Techno India. It is situated in the outskirts of Ramgarh district town on NH-23 at Murubanda, near Chitarpur, Rajrappa project covering an area of 24 acres including separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls as well as staff quarters, is having a pollution free environment. We, have always been trying to keep our commitment towards our goal to spread education among the ‘technocrat’ of the new era without ignoring the need of proper moral development of the students of the post-modern age. We have all along tired to make our pupils realize that the hidden truth is ‘Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man’.

Now a days, engineering education has been undergoing a global transformation induced by significant technological development of the Internet and handheld devices, along with the growing demand for educational program assessments by accreditation bodies and job market.

Considering the output “Low employability of fresh Engineering Graduates” of traditional teaching, we have realized that unless ‘quality’ is defined in terms of “Learning Outcomes”, rather than grades and is assessed accordingly, it is difficult to improve the quality of engineering education.

The Outcome based education (OBE) is basically student-centered education model that focuses on measuring student performance through the outcomes like knowledge, skills and attitudes. In the OBE model, the required knowledge and skill sets for a particular engineering degree is predetermined and the students are evaluated for all the required National Board of Accreditation parameters (Programme Outcomes) during the course of the program.

• Our mentor institute is KLETech University, Hubli - one of the best engineering institute in India. The faculty members of KLETech University are regularly conducting Seminar, Workshops, Faculty Exchange Programme, Student Exchange Programme to improve the quality of education.

• TEQIP III provides us the opportunity to invite professors from several IITs, NITs for taking special classes/ courses/ seminars/Workshops etc.

• We have conducted a good number of such acadmic activities in last two years.

• To achieve the mission of our college, we have established vibrant local innovation ecosystem, IIC.

• Our team visited the KLE University for Start-up activity.

• Start-up and entrepreneurship activities at REC, Ramgarh were done during 12th to 14th Feb, 2019.

• to help the students to grab their dream internship by informing about appropriate trainings and help them in building skills, Internship,Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Cell,REC Ramgarh was established.
