Sun has been diving since 2015, with experience in the Philippines and Australia before making Jeju his home.

With a background in marine biology and technical diving, he’s naturally curious about what’s happening beneath the surface, not just what there is to see. His interest in marine research and underwater environments continues to shape the way he dives and explores Jeju’s ocean.

Whether he’s guiding a dive, working on a research project, or exploring beyond recreational depths, he’s always looking for new ways to understand the ocean and spend more time in it.

Even after years of diving, there’s always something new for him to discover underwater.

Kyuri discovered diving while traveling around the world, starting with a spontaneous first dive in Egypt. One dive led to another, from Thailand to Australia, where she eventually became a PADI instructor in 2018.

During Jeju’s best diving season, you’ll find her at RE:BLUE, sharing the island’s underwater world with travelers from around the world. Jeju’s ocean is always changing, and its soft coral landscapes can look different from season to season and year to year. What you see on a dive today may not look quite the same the next time you come back, which is part of what makes diving here so special.

She loves sharing Jeju’s ocean as it is right now with people from all over the world.

When she’s not in Jeju, she’s usually somewhere on the other side of the world, looking for her next adventure.
