Evidence Before Hype

The Rebel Alliance is built around a simple principle:

Don't blindly trust information. Research it.

These standards apply to Written Contributions, Video Contributions, Live Contributions, Special Rebel Missions and significant research shared within the community.

1. 🔍 RESEARCH

Start with the evidence.

Look beyond:

Social media posts
Headlines
Influencer claims
Marketing material
Unverified screenshots

Where possible, investigate:

Primary sources
Official documentation
Blockchain data
Transaction records
Smart contracts
Reputable reporting
Independent research

One source is rarely enough for an important claim.

2. ✅ VERIFY

Before presenting information as fact, ask:

Who said it?

What evidence supports it?

Can the source be trusted?

Can it be independently confirmed?

If something cannot be verified, say so.

Uncertainty is better than false certainty.

3. 🏷️ SEPARATE FACT FROM OPINION

Research should clearly distinguish between:

FACT

Supported by credible evidence.

CLAIM

A statement made by another person or source.

OPINION

An interpretation or personal viewpoint.

UNVERIFIED

Information for which sufficient evidence has not yet been established.

Never deliberately present a claim, opinion or rumour as fact.

4. 📚 USE RELIABLE SOURCES

Whenever possible, use sources closest to the original information or event.

Examples include:

Blockchain explorers
On-chain transaction data
Official documentation
Smart-contract data
Government or regulatory publications
Original research
Direct statements
Reputable independent reporting

Screenshots and social-media posts can be useful leads.

They are not automatically proof.

5. 🔄 CROSS-CHECK IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Important claims should be checked against additional reliable sources where practical.

If sources disagree:

Don't hide the disagreement.

Explain:

What is known
What is disputed
What evidence supports each position
What remains unclear

6. 🧠 FOLLOW THE EVIDENCE

Research should be capable of changing direction.

If new evidence contradicts your original conclusion:

Change the conclusion.

That isn't weakness.

That's research.

7. ⚠️ AVOID UNSUPPORTED CONCLUSIONS

Research should inform people — not manipulate them.

Avoid:

❌ "This token will definitely rise."

❌ "This project is guaranteed to fail."

❌ "Buy this now."

❌ "This person is definitely a scammer."

Instead:

Present the evidence and explain what it demonstrates.

Let the community make its own judgement.

8. 💰 DISCLOSE CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

Contributors should disclose relevant interests.

This includes:

Token holdings
Payments
Sponsorships
Affiliate relationships
Personal relationships
Business relationships

Transparency helps the community assess the information properly.

9. 🤖 AI & RESEARCH

AI tools may be used to assist with:

Research organisation
Writing
Summarisation
Brainstorming
Data analysis

However:

AI output is not evidence.

Contributors remain responsible for checking:

Facts
Sources
Numbers
Quotes
Claims
Conclusions

Never submit fabricated AI-generated sources as genuine evidence.

10. 🎥 VIDEO RESEARCH STANDARD

Video Contributions should clearly communicate:

The subject being researched
The evidence being used
Relevant sources
What is known
What remains uncertain
The contributor's conclusions

Educational videos should prioritise understanding over hype.

11. 🎙️ LIVE RESEARCH STANDARD

Live Contributions follow the same research standards as written and video contributions.

Before going live, the contributor should understand:

What do we know?

What can we verify?

What is being claimed?

What remains unknown?

During a live session, community members may challenge the research.

That is part of the process.

12. 🎯 SPECIAL REBEL MISSION STANDARD

Special Rebel Missions require the highest evidence threshold.

Where relevant, investigations may include:

On-chain evidence
Transaction analysis
Wallet relationships
Smart-contract analysis
Blockchain data
Archived evidence
Public records
Multiple independent sources

The investigation should establish what happened and how the evidence demonstrates it.

No Mission Bounty for:

❌ Rumours
❌ Speculation
❌ Unsupported accusations
❌ Personal attacks
❌ Doxxing
❌ Social-media allegations without supporting evidence

Evidence before accusation.

13. 📝 CORRECTIONS

Good research can contain mistakes.

If new evidence demonstrates that published information is incorrect, Rebel Alliance may:

Update the Knowledge resource
Add a correction
Amend information
Remove information
Request clarification

Correcting an honest mistake is part of good research.

Deliberately presenting false information is not.

14. 🚫 WHAT WE DON'T ACCEPT

Research may be rejected where it contains:

Fabricated evidence
Fabricated sources
Deliberate misinformation
Plagiarism
Manipulated information
Unsupported accusations
Misleading financial claims
Undisclosed promotion
Deliberate manipulation
Doxxing or private information

THE REBEL STANDARD

You don't need to be an expert.

You don't need to be right every time.

You do need to be honest about:

What you know.
What you don't know.
What the evidence shows.
How you reached your conclusion.
