The Center for Transformational Wellness (CTW) and Benefits Hub are your one-stop locations for information on basic needs support. CTW staff can help you find and access programs related to food, housing, transportation, utilities, and other non-academic needs. The CTW also provides:
Free supplemental items such as diapers, hygiene products, and snacks (as available)
Access to the Gator Pantry for short-term food needs
Resources and referrals for survivors of dating or domestic violence
Recovery and wellness support
Guidance for former foster youth
To connect, complete the Student Intake Form or visit the CTW in the Student Affairs and Success Center (SA), room 122, or at our Kent Campus, second-floor Welcome Desk.
The Gator Pantry, recently moved to a new location in SA 155, and is open to all students experiencing short-term food insecurity. The Pantry can be accessed:
Monday: 2 – 4 p.m.
Wednesday – Friday: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
If you need access outside of these hours, check in with Campus Safety (SA 156) for assistance.

Students are also encouraged to schedule an appointment with the Benefits Hub for help exploring these and other community options.
Students who are unemployed, underemployed, or receiving public assistance may qualify for Workforce Education programs that can help pay for tuition, books, and other education-related costs. To learn more or check your eligibility, visit Workforce Education in SA 270 or email workforceed@greenriver.edu.
The Gator Pledge Emergency Fund provides currently enrolled GRC students with short-term financial assistance to help cover unexpected expenses that could otherwise interrupt your studies. Funding is intended to help you stay enrolled and focused on your goals.
