Highlights of My Career
Rebecca’s multifaceted career highlights include accompanying Jaden Teague-Nuñez, the first steelpannist to win the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artists Competition and the National YoungArts Competition. She has performed as a featured pianist and hornist with The University of Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Jade Chinese Chamber Ensemble in acclaimed concerts like Blossoms of Spring and Butterfly Lovers. Her collaborative work extends to performances with the Hamilton College Choir and masterclasses for prestigious Orchestras, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera, The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and The Cleveland Orchestra.
She has accompanied numerous NIU Brass Faculty Recitals and performed with principal musicians from major U.S. orchestras. As both a pianist and hornist, Rebecca brings a unique depth to chamber music, orchestral repertoire, and solo performance. She has also been invited to perform with the Colgate University Symphony Orchestra and chamber ensembles, including recording projects blending classical and world music influences.
Her ability to seamlessly navigate diverse musical styles—ranging from Western classical to contemporary and cross-cultural collaborations—reflects her extraordinary versatility. Rebecca’s artistry, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to musical excellence continue to inspire audiences and collaborators worldwide.
