To honor her legacy of service & engagement at JMU, we are raising money to support a Named JMU Memorial Scholarship.

Becca joined JMU as both an Honors Student and as a recipient of the prestigious Dingledine Scholarship.

In her first year she was a part of MYMOM, a first-year leadership experience, and a member of the JMU Quidditch Team.

Through joining Outriggers, Becca learned how to provide fun and transformative programming targeting team-building, leadership, and communication.

In the Summer of 2012, she studied abroad in Paris, France, cementing her love for travel and languages.
SafeRides
SafeRides
Becca joined SafeRides to offer free and safe rides home to JMU students on Friday and Saturday nights.

She joined SGA her senior year as the Parliamentarian, guiding the Senate through Robert's Rules of Order.

The cherry on top of her time at JMU was giving the Student Commencement Speech at the May 2014 Commencement Ceremony.

Rebecca Erin Lamb, beloved daughter, sister, colleague, and friend passed away from a very rare brain cancer on Friday, June 14th at the age of 32.
