My name is Benny Bing and I specialize in helping students prepare effectively for the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, ASTB (OAR), and other standardized tests. I also teach CLEP, CSET, PRAXIS, LSAT, SAT and GRE Subject Tests, and Military Officer Tests such as ASTB (OAR), AFOQT, and ASVAB. These classes are available on-demand.

I currently teach standardized tests (SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT) courses for the University of California at San Diego Extended Studies. I have taught test prep classes extensively to thousands of high school and college students in southern California, and have helped students and test-takers from diverse academic backgrounds. As an author of over 16 professional books, I have worked with major publishers such as John Wiley, Cambridge University Press, Springer, and McGraw Hill. I was also featured in the MIT Technology Review and has served as a technology panelist for the National Science Foundation. I am a certified computer-aided instructor and I have participated in the International Mathematical Olympiad when I was a high-school student. I hold undergraduate and graduate degrees in electrical engineering, and received a perfect score for the GRE.

They include 14 official SAT practice tests, 14 official ACT practice tests, and 10 official GRE practice tests (including all Power-Prep questions). I will give a clear breakdown on the types of questions you will expect to see in these tests and provide invaluable tips, shortcuts, and strategies to work quickly and confidently. I will also provide insights into recent official questions that are not available in the official guides. 

For many standardized tests, it is quite easy to get an average score. To get a high score requires far greater effort and intensive test preparation. This is why there is a big gap in the scores for the 99th percentile. You will need more than just drills. You need to learn how to work smart. My online Zoom sessions are complemented by pre-recorded videos that you can access any time at your convenience. These sessions are normally held on the weekend. In addition to the official guides, I provide access to lesson videos that will help you do well in these tests, including grammar, reading and math tips from official passages.
