Minister Stanley Butler Jr. was called into the ministry and gave his trial sermon January 1, 2013 under the direction of Bishop James W. Redd of Philadelphia Deliverance Church of Christ. Minister Butler currently is pursuing his ordination from the Ohio School of Ministry. Minister Butler’s philosophy is that he meets no strangers. His humbleness, passion and love for people is evident in all he does. He presents the word of God in a story format using current life experiences. When he is not preaching, teaching or studying the word of God, he is cooking for his kids at Clinton Elementary.

Minister Butler has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and is the Co-Founder of Real Talk W.I.T.S (Walking In The Spirit) ministry which provides teaching to God’s people about walking in the spirit daily by applying the word of God to every situation.

Minister Butler has been married to Leslie Butler for 21 years and together they have one Son, Stanley Butler III who currently is in college pursuing his degree in Animation Art.

The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need. He lets me rest in fields of green grass and leads me to quiet pools of fresh water. He gives me new strength. He guides me in the right paths, as he has promised. Even if I go through the deepest darkness, I will not be afraid, Lord, for you are with me. Your shepherd's rod and staff protect me. You prepare a banquet for me, where all my enemies can see me; you welcome me as an honored guest and fill my cup to the brim. I know that your goodness and love will be with me all my life; and your house will be my home as long as I live.

Leslie describes herself as a woman who simply wants to follow the will of God wherever that leads her. Leslie grew up in Aurora, Colorado and at the age of 11, first gave her life over to Christ and was baptized in Jesus’ name. She has always had a passion for singing and has been a choir member since 2007 at her previous church and now as the Choir Director of Philadelphia Deliverance Church of Christ.

She is an author, mother and wife. She published her first book February 2017 entitled, A Tale of God’s Favor and she currently along with her husband, Minister Stanley Butler host a weekly live Facebook broadcast, entitled Real Talk W.I.T.S. (Walking in the spirit).

Leslie has been married for 21 years and has 1 son. She currently is writing the sequel, A Tale of God’s favor II: Work the process and You’ve just enlisted in the Army; You just didn’t know it!

Leslie’s favorite scripture is I Corinthians 14:40 But all things should be done with regard to decency and propriety and in an orderly fashion. Which is a decree that she lives by daily!
