I'm Tammam, a doctor 👨‍⚕️ from Damascus, Syria and a Levantine Arabic tutor since 2021 👨‍🏫.

I'm also a language enthusiast, I speak English, German and French. I know how hard learning a language can be, so I'm here to help and I'm happy to share my thoughts and language teaching experience with you!

👨‍🏫 Me as a Teacher:

✅ I offer conversation practice lessons via Google meet to students who already have a basic knowledge of Levantine Arabic or who have learned MSA before.

✅ Everybody has a unique learning style and different goals, so my lessons will be tailored to fit your needs and preferences.

✅ I'm open to any activities you'd like to do, for example:

🔴 Watching a video or a TV show

🔵 Reading an article

🔴 Transcribing a podcast

🔵 Analyzing a song

🔴 Writing or correcting a text

etc.

What do you get from my lessons ❓

✅ A Google sheets file that includes corrections, suggestions and new words and sentences that come up during our conversation. Here's a sample.

✅ An Anki flashcard deck including all the new words and phrases on the Google sheets with audio recorded by me after every lesson, so that you can review between the lessons. Here's a sample

✅ Various materials made by me (Google docs with pictures to describe, short texts or stories, Youtube videos with comprehension questions...)

✅ I don't mind if you'd like to record the lesson to watch it again later.
