Please be informed that, I checked my resources and it shows that we have an on going issue on this matter. We have few customers reporting that they are unable to download videos from DailyMotion web site. Our support team is aware of this issue and working on it with high priority. Once fixed, you will be notified by our support team.

Latest version of firefox does not allow real player down-loader plugin to record/download the videos.

Instead of suggesting all those lengthy procedures, just make the latest version of firefox browser compatible with realplayer downloader plugin. As simple as that.

2. This is due to changes made at YouTube and we are working with them to resolve the issue. In the meantime, you can try the temporary solution provided in this link (if you are using Internet Explorer):

We are aware that the RealDownloader extension does not appear in Firefox 22. We are working to resolve this issue. When we have an update on the status we will let you know. Also we will provide any instructions that may be necessary.

We are aware that the RealDownloader extension does not appear in Firefox 22. We are working to resolve this issue. However, you can try alternate browsers. Download This Video is currently not compatible with a 64-bit browser, but works fine on a 64-bit OS with 32-bit browser. For more information, follow the steps given: -Using-Download-This-Video-on-a-64-Bit-OS

I have just downloaded the most recent version of Realplayer but when I try to convert a video into a audio format, a window comes and offers me to purchase realplayer and when I select no thanks, and press the convert button again the window comes up again, whats going on?

Customers that are on Win XP or Vista, we will be working on a similar fix for RealPlayer v16 and hope to release that soon but do not have a date yet. For customers that prefer to wait for your localized language (not US English) we are working on those versions that as well.

I installed the most recent version of realplayer and the first time i opened up firefox i was able to download videos but now the download this video button does not come up anymore? I am using firefox, 27.0.1, i also tried google chrome, the download this video button still does not come up?

Since downloading latest RealPlayer I have had player close every time I delete a video and no downloader comes on in Firefox. Tried in Explorer and get error code -2147467259. Went back and installed Realplayer 15 and same problem. Worked fine until I pushed new version with cloud update. Need to get downloader button working and also stopping from closing when I delete video or update database due to closing as mentioned before. Downloaded new Flash and followed every step including downloading new RealPlayer program. The Cloud update ruined my player as it does not work at all now

Other customers have reported the same problem. We are aware of this and our development team is working to get it resolved soon. In the meantime, you can try installing the latest version of RealPlayer.

We are aware of this and our development team is working to get it resolved soon. In the meantime, I recommend you to verify whether you have the latest version of RealPlayer installed and the RealDowloader plugin is enabled. To verify, follow the link:

I am firefox 5.0 and I have done all the troubleshooting steps here and my realplayer is set to the settings you suggest JCCarey. I still am not able to use the real player video downloaded. Any more advice? thank you

Same problem when I plugged into about:config... no Preferences showed. I ended up getting the "Download this video" back by enabling the plugin in Firefox (Tools>Add-ons) but when I clicked to download, nothing would happen. Finally ended up uninstalling and reinstalling RealPlayer and it's working again.

At first this fix worked for me, using Real Downloader 15x (which was originally bundled with Real Player 15x) and Firefox 8. However, after restarting my computer, it no longer worked. I checked the settings at it was still set to false per your instructions. Changed it back to True (original Firefox setting) and the downloader worked again. Restarted my computer and the downloader is still working. I have no idea why your fix worked at first, but then I had to revert to the original settings, which never worked until now! When I filter just for "dom.ipc", plugins and java are listed. I have plugins set to True, and Java set to false. I'm not sure if your fix changed Java to false, but since my downloader is working again, I'm going to leave it as false unless I start having downloader or java problems.

isnt realplayer downloader under addons? and not extansions?this does NOT help anyhow even if you go to addons and then find realplayer downloader and then click "more" there is nothing to click once you get there to activate it eccept able/disable. which isnt at all helpful as it is already set to abled.so whats the script here?

the basic problem seems to be that when you hover your curosr over, for example, a youtube video, you should get the realplayer logo appearing on top right of the video window. it has stopped doing this.and going to addons DOES NOT HELP.any other ways to try?

i just tried opening realplayer downloader, and on top left there is a little arrow, clicked that, and then clicked preferences!then set it to show the realplayer logo when i hover cursor over video window. but even after a firefox restart, nbothing happens. it is as if i dont have realplayer downloader at all.

o0nly fix i found was, UNINSTAL real downloader, install FULLL basic reaplplayer setup, and after thats done, when u bring up firefox the first page should ask if you want to allow realplayer top add and add on (downloader) click YES!, or ALLOW whichever...it BINGO

borge: I'm glad you found a workaround. The link in your first post refers to an old thread. For the record, the old tur repos are unmaintained and have been obsoleted by the AUR and community repo. They should not be used anymore.

There is an up-to-date realplayer PKGBUILD in AUR but it also use a rpm so it won't work on Arch64. When updating it, I saw some realplayer sources but I am sceptical that RealNetwork would release the source of its proprietary file formats. The source probably only build codecs for the open source file formats. I'll check it out when I'll have time.

I still was not able to play .rmvb files in either xine or mplayer-based media players (I got sound but no video, exactly as the OP described). Next, in order to have the realplayer libraries, I installed:

RealPlayer-10.0.9-51.1

I've got RealPlayer 5.0 working in my copy of Netscape 4.61 for OS/2 as a plug-in. There are a couple of things I needed to do to make it work. First, Ineeded to download the player (RP16_50.EXE) and Video Player for Windows(WV1160.EXE). Then I needed open a DOS window and run WV1160.EXE in its owndirectory. With this done, I had one directory (which must be named with8.3 compliant names) with RP16-50.EXE in it and one directory with all thefiles expanded from WV1160.EXE.

However, let's suppose for a moment that "Carletto" actively wants a slightly reduced schedule in his life; maybe he yearns for the sunshine and the joy of working between Brazil, Italy and Canada, given how much less time an international coach has to spend at his desk or on the training ground. Moreover, let's suppose that with World Cup 2026 peeping around the corner, Ancelotti craves lifting the beautiful trophy that cruelly slipped through his hands as both a player and a manager.

Now that you have downloaded or upgraded RealPlayer on your computer, you should be ready to receive media. But before diving in, you should test your Real Player to see that it is working correctly. We have selected two samples for you to try, one audio only and one that is both audio and video. This will also insure that your RealPlayer is able to receive media from the Columbia media servers.AudioThis is a demonstration of the quality of streaming audio served from Columbia University's RealMedia Server. Our featured selection is a sample from Trees - a track from Wired Planet's self-titled 2000 release. ff782bc1db
