How do I record a melody?

Tap the record button while playing. Your performance is saved as a melody you can play back, export, or share with others.

Can I change how notes are labeled?

Yes — open Settings and choose Numbers (1 2 3…), Solfège (Do Re Mi), or Letters (C D E…) for the on-key note labels.

Can I play in a different key?

Yes — use the pitch transpose control (−6 to +6 semitones) to shift the whole instrument up or down to match your band or your voice.

Can I play along with my own music?

Yes — the local MP3 player lets you load a song already on your device and play the bell lyre along with it, at your own pace.

How do I customize the look of my instrument?

Choose from 25 belira motif designs and 25 mallet skins in the app's customization settings.

How do I get my recording featured in the tutorial library?

From your saved recordings, choose "Send to song library," enter your name, and submit it for review. Approved recordings appear in the community tutorial library for other players.

Why do I see ads?

Real Lyra is free to play and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. On iOS, we ask for tracking permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency before showing personalized ads — you can change your choice anytime in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
