REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR BACHELOR'S DEGREE PROGRAMMES : 5Credits in WAEC / NECO , GCE , which must include English and Mathematics ( in not more than two sittings ).

REQUIREMENTS TO   APPLY  FOR  MA, MSc, MBA, LLM: Postgraduate Diploma ( PGD ) /B.Sc from Recognized Higher institution /University . 

REQUIREMENTS TO   APPLY  FOR   (Ph.D)  PROGRAMMES : Direct entry candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 4.0 on a 5.0 scale or its equivalent in M.Sc./M. Eng/M. Tech and a minimum CGPA of 3.5 (second class upper) in the Bachelor’s degree.

### *How FADLU Handles It*

#### *1. Who Qualifies*

FADLU considers course exemption for Master's students if:

1. *You already started a Masters* at another recognized university but couldn’t finish

2. *You have a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)* and want direct entry into Masters

3. *Your courses match* FADLU’s program by 70%+ in content and credit hours

#### *2. What Can Be Exempted*

- *Coursework*: FADLU can exempt you from all taught courses if your transcript shows you completed equivalent courses

- *What you’ll still do*: Research Methods, Seminar, and *Dissertation/Project* with FADLU supervision. 

- *Duration*: Usually 6-12 months instead of 18-24 months

#### *3. Documents FADLU Will Request*

To assess you for exemption, send:

1. *Official Transcript* - from previous university, sent directly/sealed

2. *Course Outlines/Syllabus* - to match courses 1:1

3. *Admission Letter + Withdrawal Letter* - from previous university

4. *Project/Thesis Proposal or Completed Draft* - if you already started

5. *O'Level + http://B.Sc Certificate* 

6. *Application Form + Assessment Fee*

#### *4. Approval Process*

1. *Application → Assessment*: FADLU Academic Board reviews your transcript

2. *Exemption Letter*: They tell you exactly which courses are exempted and what remains

3. *Admission*: You’re admitted into "Masters by Dissertation" stage

4. *Supervision + Defense*: You work with a FADLU supervisor and defend before graduating

### *Important Notes*

1. *Accreditation*: Your previous university must be recognized by NUC or equivalent. Foreign schools must be accredited.

2. *Grade Requirement*: Usually minimum Second Class Lower or CGPA 3.0/5.0

3. *HEC Mauritius*: FADLU is registered with HEC Mauritius. Final award will be a FADLU degree after you complete their dissertation requirements.

4. *Professional Programs*: For Nursing, Public Health, Paramedic Science — the professional body may require some additional courses even with exemption.
