I studied Civil Engineering at The Universidad de Chile, then I obtain my Master of Economics at The University of Sydney. In late 2015, I achieved my Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics at The University of Washington in Seattle. I'm currently an Associate Professor at The Universidad Andrés Bello in Chile, and an Associate Member of the Political Economy Forum at The University of Washington.

My research focuses on development economics, international macroeconomics and political economy.
