And yes, off course I have fingerprint unlock and fingerprint always on activated.. also tried with On always on display.

Come on it's 2023 and you're asking a lot of money for a phone, which is expected to be high-end.. And not enough time is invested in testing updates.

I've tried that as well.. I tried it from Safe mode as well and it's the same issue.

Basically fingerprint sensor works fine, i can register fingerprints, i can use them in apps, but when screen is locked the fingerprint sensor scanner is not triggered. It's 100% a software issue, related to the update

I have a Lenovo W520 that I recently installed Disco Dingo on. Everything seems to work great, including the fingerprint scanner, with one minor annoyance: I can't login with the fingerprint scanner from the initial login screen.
