The notifications are permanently open and can't be closed. The main navigation panel is greyed out (although side scrolling still works). I can still access all the various popup windows (gold, M$, backup/restore, etc). I can even run a race if I just click on one of those notifications that "so & so beat you in a race, click here for a rematch". But I can't find any way to close that notifications panel. Restarting the game doesn't work. My second device has the same problem.

So, I'm tired of the ridiculous prices for cars and upgrades in this game. I've played this game since pretty much the beginning (ever since it was a featured game back when the iPad 2 came out), and have mostly enjoyed it - the driving physics seem pretty reasonable and it's possible for me to control the car (something that tilt-steer in Asphalt fails miserably at). However, I've never had good hand-eye coordination, so I really can't turn off the assists without getting super frustrated. I don't mind an occasional challenge where I need to do so, but I can't play the game like that continuously because I'm just not coordinated enough to do so. Prior to a couple of updates ago, I was on the edge of deleting the game due to the boredom - same old thing over and over again with each new update, very rarely add a new track to make things interesting. No, I don't need yet another Porsche 911 RSR. Along comes an update with some hope - revamped weekly time trial and online multiplayer promising better gold payouts. Woo! Maybe EA/FireMonkeys is listening to their users. But alas, no. With the enhanced payouts for the time trials came increased costs to win new cars in the limited time events. Where you generally used to be able to complete the events with only the first 3 tiers of each upgrade, you'll now need a 4th or 5th tier on several to make the recommended PR, and even that is sometimes misleading when the event has a baked in performance requirement. For example, I'm at 3 upgrades for all tiers on the Porsche King of the Ring challenge, which gets me 86.5 of the 87.7 recommended PR and allows me to crush Magnus' time on Day 9's stage 2 autocross, but I'm no where near the baked in 122.5 mph required average speed. I've burned through service on the car 4 times now trying to attain that speed and the best I've gotten is 121.7. Is it even possible to get to 122.5 without additional upgrades? The minimum cost to upgrade is 125 gold + some amount of RS for stage 5, but there's no guarantee that will allow me to complete this challenge. Alternatively, I can skip it for 80 gold, but there's no guarantee I'll be able to complete the remaining 3 challenges if I do that. I had the same issue with the Pagani event in the last update, and that was even worse as I could only complete the challenge by fully upgrading the car, which is why I can't afford to upgrade the Porsche anymore. This all leads me to believe that this game is just too frustrating for too little reward. I have enough stress in my life without having to stress over this game. Convince me it's worth it to keep this game installed?

Real Racing 2 is a polished package, and since it was released last week I've been drawn back to it time and time again. Yes, there are some circuits where I really want to move up to the top step from second place, but that's never a hindrance to moving on in the game. It has that 'just one more drive and I'll win' addictive quality that a good mobile game needs, and it's relatively quick to move from launching the app to driving in a race.

As I say, just a Public Service Announcement! Try a career on 'hard', by the way. I'm doing this at the moment, and it's a LOT more challenging. Pro tip: use every drop of cash to improve car performance - just as in real life at the moment, money does little good in the bank!

Real Racing 3 is the third instalment from the star racing franchise of Electronic Arts in Android. Its principal difference in regard to the last productions is that this time the game is totally free...although the game is full of shopping.

In spite of this bad payment method, Real Racing 3 is an interesting racing game, its control system is perfectly adapted to touch devices, and will allow us to compete online against many players from around the world.

Furthermore, on a graphic level its possible that Real Racing 3 is one of the best titles in Google Play, with spectacular detail regarding the cars. To this realism, we have to add that the cars represent real models, so we will recognise many of them at a glance.

Real Racing 2 and 2 HD for the iPad release, is a 2010 racing game, developed and published by Firemint for iOS, Android, OS X Lion and Windows Phone 8. It was released on December 16, 2010 for iPhone and iPod Touch,[1] powered by Firemint's own Mint3D engine.[5] A separate iPad version was released on March 11, 2011.[6] On January 11, 2012 Real Racing 2 was confirmed as one of twenty-seven titles to be released on Windows Phone as part of a partnership between Electronic Arts and Nokia.[7] The game is the sequel to 2009's Real Racing, and the download requires a one-time payment. It was a critical and commercial success, and a further freemium sequel, Real Racing 3, was released in 2013.

IGN's Levi Buchanan scored the game 9 out of 10, giving it an "Editor's Choice" award, and writing "Real Racing 2 is without a doubt the best racing game in the App Store today [...] With excellent handling and beautiful visuals, Real Racing 2 lays down a new marker for iPhone sim racers."[11] Chris Hall of 148Apps scored the game 4.5 out of 5, echoing Buchanan in calling it the best racing game on the App Store; "in the racing sim category of the App Store, there really isn't another game that is as impressive as Real Racing 2."[14] The Appera's Daniel Silva scored the game 10 out of 10, also claiming it to be the best racing game on the App Store; "Real Racing was the king of racing games on the App Store when it was released, and kept that title until now. The only thing to replace that is the sequel which makes the original seem like child's play. Real Racing 2 is fantastic, and I can't recommend it enough."[15] AppSpy's Andrew Nesvadba scored it 5 out of 5, stating "Real Racing 2 is the perfect pocket companion for fans of racing titles and a definite must grab."[16]

Pocket Gamer's Tracy Erickson gave it a score of 10 out of 10, also giving it a "Platinum Award", and stating that "rare is a game like Real Racing 2 where not one major feature is lacking, not one element is out of balance, not one piece doesn't contribute to a sense of fun. From the lengthy career and groundbreaking 16-player online races to the spot-on handling and meaningful vehicle tuning, everything about Firemint's sequel is ideal. No other racing game on any portable device delivers such a complete package, nor matches its elegant style."[12] Pocket Gamer awarded it Best Sports/Driving Game for iPhone & iPod touch, Game of the Year for iPhone & iPod touch and Overall Game of the Year in 2011.[19] Slide to Play's Shawn Leonard scored the game 4 out of 4, saying "Real Racing 2 is the showcase racing game on the iOS platform. Not only is it a more attractive package over its outstanding prequel, but the sharp focus on being a legitimate simulation racing game takes it to a new plateau."[17] It would go on to win awards for "Best Graphics" and "Best Racing Game", losing in the category of "Game of the Year 2010" to Angry Birds. 006ab0faaa
