Dust is the first installment in the A Broken World Series by Reagan. 

An asteroid has ravaged Earth, unleashing the Dust, razor-sharp particles that shred non-immune flesh, and Dwellers, monstrous creatures that hunt what remains of humanity. Scattered across this hellscape is a loose alliance of human factions, struggling to survive against the Dwellers and the Dust. At the forefront sits the Garrison, a fortress led by The Command, and home to thousands of surviving humans.

Lifted from the ruins by The Command, Josephine Keller has risen from lost orphan, to the leader of the Garrison’s elite Scavengers, taking on the most dangerous missions that help keep the last remnants of civilization alive. But she is also the Command’s most closely guarded secret: the Legacy, a weapon trained for assassination, surveillance, and most importantly —obedience. Everything she’s been conditioned to believe is put to the test when her closest friend, Miles, uncovers a conspiracy that could ignite a war.

In a world where every choice can mean death, Josephine must decide whether she will follow the Command’s orders or fight to become something more.
