Reagan Smith is from Burlington, North Carolina. She grew up playing all sorts of sports such as volleyball, basketball, and track. Her love for sports grew when she came to High Point University, where her career began.
She was the only woman in the broadcasting/production club, SportsLink on the broadcasting side. She was also the only woman apart of the National Sports Media Association (NSMA) Executive Counsel on campus during the 2023-2024 year, serving as the social media coordinator.
Smith started on air broadcasting as a color commentator in November of 2022, calling her first men's basketball game. She went on to call volleyball, basketball, and track on ESPN+ and student radio until she graduated in May of 2024.
She has worked on segments for Pre-Game Live shows for an ESPN Wildcard game at HPU and the Big South Tournament hosted by HPU.
She has worked as a director and producer for the Sports Broadcasting class's sports shows throughout the 2023-2024 year.
Smith is currently getting her Master's degree in Communication and Business Leadership at High Point University.
