About Us

Libby Nebres is a pre-professional ballerina with a passion for creating equity in ballet. She started READY TO DANCE by offering free materials & ballet workshops to kids from under-represented groups to teach the basics of ballet & what it takes to succeed in the art form!

As a child Libby danced with the New York City Ballet and trained at the prestigious School of American Ballet & the Dance Theater of Harlem School. Currently a Freshman in college studying Arts Administration & Finance, Libby is excited to share her knowledge and grow READY TO DANCE as a nonprofit organization.

Charlotte Nebres is a child performer who rose to stardom in 2019 while dancing the lead role of Marie in the New York City Ballet's classic, the Nutcracker. 

Charlotte became a published author at the age of 12 with her book, Charlotte & The Nutcracker (Penguin Random House, 2021) which shares an inside look into that experience & her life on and off stage. 

Charlotte has trained at the prestigious School of American Ballet & Dance Theater of Harlem School and she is thrilled to bring her experience to the READY TO DANCE equity initiative.
