Alesh has been performing in the Classical Orchestral music scene since 1993 including the Adelaide, Queensland and Melbourne Symphony Orchestras. He has been teaching music to students since the age of 24 on returning to Australia after studying music in Prague. Subsequently gaining his Diploma of Audio Engineering and music production and Graduate Diploma in Music Performance from the University of Melbourne has resulted in ongoing employment with the RAAF Band for almost 20 years.

My teaching approach is based on emphasis on the building blocks of harmony and rhythm, with an ability to break down complex music to its fundamentals. Technically, I have identified the elements required to be mastered to achieve solid foundations in a fun way, including reading chord charts/tablature music and aural skills.

Every lesson includes fun exercises for technique, a listening harmony multiple choice quiz including chords nd performance of prepared music. Choices of popular songs are based on level of expertise and I can even simplify and create parts to more complex songs of your choice.
