Ready 2 Read (R2R) is sponsored by Kids Need to Thrive, Inc.

Our mission is to help kids become successful adults.

R2R is a free summer reading program

for kids ages 4 – 9.

Parents sign up kids online to come to a

reading site for 45 minute sessions 2 times a week, 

Monday – Thursday, during the month of July.

Volunteers meet with kids one-on-one

to engage in reading activities.

The goal is help kids become successful readers

so they can return to school better ready to learn.

Kids do not need to live in or attend school

in El Dorado to participate in R2R.
