The "One" Thing Study - A simple way to encounter God through His Word.
1) Read ONE SCRIPTURE passage
2) Identify ONE THING that speaks to you
3) What is ONE WAY to respond or apply this truth to your life?
4) Do you know ONE PERSON you could share this with?
As you read and respond to Scripture, remember that following Jesus means living out His words. Our love for Him is demonstrated through obedience: “If you love me, obey my commandments”
(John 14:15 NLT).

S. Scripture --> Read a portion of scripture.
2Ti 2:15 KJV Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
O. Observation --> What is it saying? Make note of one or two things that stand out.
Psa 119:18 KJV Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
A. Application --> How can I apply what I have discovered?
Psa 143:10 ESV Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground!
P. Prayer --> Pray for help to walk in obedience to the things I am learning!
Mat 6:9-10 ESV Pray then like this: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
S. Share --> With whom could I share what I have learned?
