ReadPulse (“the app”) respects your privacy and is designed to provide a simple and focused reading experience while minimizing data collection.

ReadPulse does not require account registration and does not collect personal identity information such as:

- Phone number
- Location data
- Payment information
## Local Storage
The app may store the following information locally on your device only:
- Reading text entered or imported by the user
- Reading progress
- Recent reads
- App settings
- Theme preferences
- Reading statistics such as total words read or average reading speed
This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to external servers in the current version of the app.
## Clipboard Access
ReadPulse may access clipboard content only when the user chooses to paste text into the app or when the app displays an optional paste suggestion. Clipboard data is not stored externally or shared with third parties.
## File Import
If the user imports TXT files, the app reads the selected file locally on the device to display the text inside the app. Imported files are not uploaded or shared.
## Internet Access
The current version of ReadPulse is designed to function without requiring user accounts or cloud synchronization. If future versions introduce online features, this Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.
## Third-Party Services
ReadPulse currently does not use:
- Advertising SDKs
- Analytics SDKs
- Tracking technologies
- Third-party login systems
If third-party services are added in future versions, this policy will be updated before release.
## Data Sharing
ReadPulse does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.
## Children’s Privacy
ReadPulse is not directed toward children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Users can:
- Clear recent reads
- Reset app settings
- Remove imported text
- Uninstall the app at any time
