Tolkien wrote about The Second Age of Middle-earth -- which doesn't include the Sibley-edited The Fall of Numenor (pictured to the left) because it hadn't been published yet when I was writing in July and August of 2022, but my tour through the other volumes in the History of Middle-earth series essentially was my attempt to consolidate together the material Sibley assembled in this book.  (Someday I'll go back and read that volume though, just for the sake of comprehensive coverage.)
