Rules and Regulations
1. General Rules
1.1. Participants must register for the race before the event starts. No on-the-spot entries are allowed unless explicitly stated by organizers.
1.2. Each rider must have a valid race number displayed visibly on their bike.
1.3. Riders must adhere to all event instructions given by the race officials and marshals.
2. Bike Specifications
2.1. Only balance bikes with 12-inch tires are allowed.
2.2. Handlebars must not exceed 450mm in width.
2.3. Bikes must have no sharp parts that could cause injury to the rider or others.
2.4. All pushbikes must be well-maintained and in safe working condition. Inspections may be conducted before the race.
3. Clothing and Safety Requirements
3.1. Helmets are mandatory and must meet recognized safety standards. Riders will not be allowed to participate without a helmet.
3.2. Proper footwear must be worn—no sandals, flip-flops, or bare feet are allowed.
3.3. Riders should wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing suitable for cycling. Loose or overly long clothing that may get caught in the bike's moving parts is not allowed.
3.4. Gloves and knee/elbow pads are strongly recommended for added safety.
3.5 All riders must ensure they are wearing weather-appropriate attire (e.g., jackets for cold weather, breathable clothing for warm weather).
3.6. High-visibility or brightly colored clothing is encouraged to ensure participants are easily seen by race officials and other riders.
4. Categories
4.1. The race will have categories based on:
Age (2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 years old)
Gender (Boy and girl)
Bike Type (any open brand of 12 inch size)
4.2. Riders must compete in their designated category unless explicitly permitted by race officials.
5. Race Conduct
5.1. Riders must remain on the designated race track at all times. Cutting corners or leaving the track will result in penalties or disqualification.
5.2. Unsportsmanlike behavior, including pushing, blocking, or intentionally colliding with other riders, is strictly prohibited.
5.3. If a rider encounters a mechanical issue, they must move to the side of the track to avoid obstructing others.
6. Safety and Emergencies
6.1. Medical personnel will be stationed along the race track for emergencies. Participants must notify officials if they witness an accident.
6.2. Riders who feel unwell or injured must stop and inform a race official immediately.
6.3. The race will be paused or canceled in extreme weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
7. Start and Finish
7.1. Riders must be present at the starting line 15 minutes before their race category begins. Late arrivals may be disqualified.
7.2. The race begins with an official signal. False starts will result in a warning or disqualification.
7.3. The winner is the first rider to cross the finish line within their category, subject to compliance with all rules.
8. Penalties and Disqualifications
8.1. Violations of the rules will result in penalties, which may include deductions, warnings, or disqualification.
8.2. Decisions by race officials are final and cannot be appealed on the day of the event.
9. Waivers and Liability
9.1. All participants must sign a waiver acknowledging the risks involved in the race.
9.2. Organizers are not responsible for any injuries, damages, or loss of property during the event.
9.3. By participating, riders permit free use of images and videos taken by the event organizer and media staff for publicity and advertisements. Participants waive rights, such as personal portrait rights, to refuse the use of these photographs for publicity purposes.
9.4. By participating in this event, I consent to my personal data being processed by the organizer and sponsors for future events and/or promotions. I acknowledge that I may exercise my rights under the Personal Data Protection Act.
9.5. In case of cancellation or changes to the event due to natural disasters, incidents, or accidents, I agree under any circumstances not to claim a refund of the participation fee.
9.6. During this event, I will be responsible for my personal belongings, and I understand that the event organizer, other participants, or event staff will not be held accountable for the loss or damage of these belongings.
