Greg Schmidt has always enjoyed creating stories and characters, but it is not until the last couple of years that he has allowed them to escape from head to page. Career malaise and a dash of mid-life crisis led him to start writing and, more importantly, completing stories once again.
He currently prefers writing short stories of varying genres and inspired by the every day. A passionate vegan and animal lover, many of his stories are about how animals make us feel and about how we treat them in turn.
His stories have appeared in four publications since 2023 and numerous short and long lists from competitions.
