ReachAI – Privacy Policy

1. Overview

ReachAI ("the extension") is a Chrome extension that generates personalised LinkedIn outreach messages using an AI provider of your choice. This policy explains what data is accessed, where it goes, and what we never do.

2. Data we do not collect

The developer of ReachAI operates no servers and collects no user data. We do not receive, store, or have access to:

• Your LinkedIn profile data or browsing activity

• Your AI provider API keys

• Your generated messages

• Your name, email address, or any personal identifier

• Payment information of any kind

3. Data accessed by the extension

LinkedIn profile content
When you open the ReachAI panel on a LinkedIn profile page, the extension reads publicly visible information from that page — including the person's name, headline, company, location, About section, and skills. This data is sent directly from your browser to your chosen AI provider to generate a message. It is not sent to ReachAI's developer and is not stored beyond your local message history (see section 4).

AI provider APIs
The profile context and your prompt are sent to whichever AI provider you have configured — OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or a locally running Ollama instance. These requests are made directly from your browser using your own API key. The developer has no visibility into these requests. Each provider's own privacy policy governs how they handle your data:

• Ollama: fully local — no data leaves your machine

4. Data stored locally on your device

The extension stores the following in Chrome's local and sync storage, on your device only:

• Your AI provider API key(s)

• Your selected AI provider and default tone preference

• A monthly usage counter (resets on the 1st of each month)

• Your message history (last 50 entries, stored locally)

• Saved message templates

This data never leaves your device except as noted in sections 3 and 5. You can remove all stored data at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension storage via Chrome's developer tools.

5. Payments and subscription

Payment processing is handled entirely by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) and Stripe. When you upgrade to Pro, you interact directly with their payment pages. ReachAI's developer never sees or handles your payment details. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.

6. Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions solely to deliver its core functionality:

• storage — saves your settings, API keys, and message history locally

• activeTab — reads the LinkedIn profile page you have open to extract publicly visible data

• offscreen — enables communication with a local Ollama server when selected

• Host permissions — limited to LinkedIn (profile reading), AI provider APIs (message generation), and ExtensionPay (subscription verification)

7. Children's privacy

ReachAI is intended for professional use by adults. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published on the Chrome Web Store listing page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
