Privacy Policy — RE Venant

Resonancia Éter ("we", "our", "us") built RE Venant as an entertainment application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.
1. Information We Collect
RE Venant does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. We do not have servers. All data generated by the app stays on your device.
The app accesses the following device features:
- Microphone: Used to record ambient audio locally on your device (EVP Recorder tool). Recordings are stored only on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.
- Motion sensors (magnetometer, accelerometer, gyroscope): Used to display real-time sensor readings and visualizations. Sensor data is processed locally and is not stored or transmitted.
- Internet connection: Used only when the AI Ouija tool is active, to communicate with the Google Gemini API. This requires a user-provided API key. We do not provide, store, or have access to your API key.
2. Data Storage
All session data, recordings, settings, and logs are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This includes:
- Audio recordings (EVP)
- Session history and logs
- User preferences
- Gemini API key (stored locally via iOS secure storage)
None of this data is transmitted to us or any third party by the app.
3. Third-Party Services
The AI Ouija feature connects to the Google Gemini API using an API key that you provide. When you use this feature, your conversation messages are sent to Google's servers for processing. This communication is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We have no control over and assume no responsibility for Google's data handling practices.
No other third-party services, analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks are used in this app.

5. Children's Privacy
RE Venant is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by:
- Deleting individual recordings or sessions within the app
- Deleting the app from your device, which removes all associated data

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
