Privacy Policy — RE Venant
Last updated: August 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to RE Venant on iOS, iPadOS, macOS where supported, and Android.
Resonancia Éter (“we”, “our”, or “us”) develops and operates RE Venant, an entertainment application inspired by paranormal investigation.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is accessed, processed, stored, transmitted, or shared when users interact with RE Venant.
The features available may vary depending on the platform, application version, purchase history, and entitlement status.
1. DATA CONTROLLER AND CONTACT
The entity responsible for the processing described in this Privacy Policy is:
Resonancia Éter
Spain
Email:
resonancia.eter@gmail.com
RE Venant does not require users to create an account, provide a name, provide an email address, or sign in with an Apple, Google, or social-media account.
2. INFORMATION PROCESSED BY RE VENANT
a) Pseudonymous application identifier
RE Venant creates or uses a pseudonymous identifier associated with the application installation.
This identifier is not intentionally based on:
- the user’s real name;
- email address;
- telephone number;
- Apple ID;
- Google account;
- advertising identifier;
- IMEI;
- device serial number;
- contact list.
The identifier may be stored locally using storage provided by the operating system.
It may be transmitted to the RE Venant backend and used to:
- assign and maintain the initial free-question allowance;
- retrieve the current question balance;
- maintain purchased question credits;
- synchronize balances;
- associate purchase-redemption records;
- prevent duplicate credit grants;
- prevent repeated redemption of the same purchase;
- recover interrupted operations;
- provide technical support;
- investigate abuse or fraud;
- process a privacy or deletion request where technically possible.
Although this identifier is pseudonymous, it is associated with credit, usage, and purchase-redemption records and is therefore treated as user data.
b) Questions and conversation content
When a user chooses to interact with the hosted AI features in Ouija or the Luceros, RE Venant may transmit:
- the current question or message;
- up to ten recent messages from the active conversation;
- the selected Ouija mode or Lucero;
- the fictional character or spirit information required for the session;
- the application language;
- instructions required to generate the requested experience;
- a pseudonymous application identifier;
- a unique operation identifier.
This information is transmitted only when the user actively uses an AI conversation feature.
Users should not submit:
- passwords;
- payment-card details;
- bank-account information;
- government identification numbers;
- private authentication credentials;
- confidential business information;
- medical records;
- highly sensitive personal information;
- personal information belonging to another person without authorization.
c) Free-question and credit information
The RE Venant backend may process and store:
- whether the initial free allocation has already been granted;
- remaining free questions;
- purchased question balance;
- credit consumption;
- reservation identifiers;
- operation identifiers;
- synchronization status;
- successful, interrupted, refunded, or recovered operations;
- dates and times associated with these operations.
The free allocation and purchased balance are shared between supported hosted Ouija and Lucero features.
RE Venant does not use this information for advertising or profiling.
d) Purchase and transaction information
Purchases on Apple platforms are processed through Apple and StoreKit.
Purchases on Android are processed through Google Play Billing.
To verify purchases and deliver the purchased content, RE Venant and its backend may process:
- purchased product identifier;
- Apple transaction identifier;
- Google Play purchase token;
- application bundle identifier or package name;
- purchase status;
- transaction environment, such as Sandbox or Production;
- signed transaction information supplied by Apple, where applicable;
- purchase-verification result;
- redemption status;
- number of credits granted;
- whether a purchase was already redeemed;
- fraud-prevention and duplicate-redemption records.
Resonancia Éter does not receive or store:
- complete payment-card numbers;
- bank-account numbers;
- Apple ID passwords;
- Google account passwords;
- App Store payment credentials;
- Google Play payment credentials.
Payment processing is performed by Apple or Google under their own terms and privacy policies.
e) Technical, network, and security information
Cloudflare, OpenAI, Apple, Google, and other infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical information necessary to deliver and protect the service, including:
- IP address;
- request date and time;
- operating-system information;
- application version;
- network errors;
- server errors;
- HTTP response status;
- request duration;
- security events;
- fraud-prevention information;
- abuse-prevention information.
Resonancia Éter does not use this information for targeted advertising.
3. ARTIFICIAL-INTELLIGENCE PROCESSING
a) Hosted RE Credits mode
Hosted Ouija and Lucero conversations use the following processing flow:
RE Venant
→ Cloudflare Worker operated for Resonancia Éter
→ OpenAI API
The Cloudflare Worker receives the information necessary to process the request and sends the required conversation content to OpenAI.
The current OpenAI request is configured not to create stored application state through the API request by using “store: false”.
OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train or improve its models by default unless the API customer expressly opts in.
OpenAI may nevertheless retain API inputs, outputs, or related metadata in abuse-monitoring logs for a limited period under its API data-retention practices, normally up to 30 days, unless a different data-control arrangement or a legal requirement applies.
The RE Venant backend does not intentionally write questions, full conversation histories, system instructions, API keys, purchase tokens, or full pseudonymous identifiers to ordinary technical logs.
b) Historical Own API mode
Certain historical Legacy Premium users, platforms, or older versions may offer an Own API mode.
When this mode is available:
- the user provides their own API credential;
- the credential is stored locally using storage supplied by the operating system;
- Resonancia Éter does not receive or store the credential;
- the RE Venant hosted-credit backend does not receive the credential;
- conversation content is sent directly to the AI provider selected or configured by that implementation;
- the third-party provider processes the content under its own terms and privacy policy.
Legacy implementations may use Google Gemini as the user-configured AI provider.
Users who choose Own API mode are responsible for reviewing the privacy and data-retention practices applicable to their provider account.
4. INFORMATION STORED LOCALLY
Depending on the platform and features used, RE Venant may store locally:
- EVP audio recordings;
- saved session information;
- sensor-session records;
- Ouija conversation history;
- Lucero conversation history;
- generated responses;
- selected language;
- application settings;
- selected AI connection mode;
- acceptance of the adult Terror-mode notice;
- locally cached balance information;
- temporary operation identifiers;
- tool-timer state;
- purchase-entitlement state;
- historical Legacy Premium entitlement;
- a user-provided API key where Own API mode remains available;
- ZIP reports created by the user.
Local conversation history is not automatically uploaded as a permanent online conversation archive.
However, when a new hosted AI message is submitted, a limited portion of the recent conversation may be transmitted to provide context for the requested response.
5. MICROPHONE AND AUDIO RECORDINGS
RE Venant may request access to the microphone when the user activates the EVP Recorder.
Microphone access is used to record ambient audio selected by the user.
EVP recordings:
- are stored locally on the device;
- are not intentionally uploaded to the RE Venant backend;
- are not sent to OpenAI;
- are not used for advertising;
- can be deleted by the user.
If the user independently exports or shares a recording, the selected destination or receiving application will process that file under its own privacy practices.
6. SENSORS AND ENVIRONMENTAL READINGS
RE Venant may access sensors available on the device, including:
- magnetometer;
- accelerometer;
- gyroscope;
- light sensor;
- pressure sensor;
- other compatible environmental or motion sensors.
Sensor readings are used to display measurements, visualizations, and session information.
Sensor data is processed locally and is not intentionally transmitted to the RE Venant backend, OpenAI, Apple, or Google by RE Venant.
Availability and accuracy depend on the hardware of the device.
7. INFORMATION WE DO NOT INTENTIONALLY COLLECT
RE Venant does not intentionally collect or access:
- contacts or address books;
- precise location;
- approximate location;
- photographs;
- videos;
- camera data;
- SMS messages;
- call logs;
- health or fitness records;
- biometric information;
- advertising identifiers;
- IMEI;
- device serial numbers;
- installed-app inventory;
- browsing history;
- complete payment-card numbers;
- bank-account credentials.
RE Venant does not integrate advertising networks and does not display third-party advertisements.
RE Venant does not use personal information for targeted advertising, cross-app tracking, or the creation of advertising profiles.
8. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Information is processed only when reasonably necessary to:
- provide the AI response requested by the user;
- operate hosted Ouija and Lucero conversations;
- provide the fictional Classic and Terror Ouija experiences;
- maintain the initial free-question allowance;
- manage purchased question credits;
- synchronize balances;
- verify Apple App Store purchases;
- verify Google Play purchases;
- restore historical purchase rights;
- protect Legacy Premium entitlements;
- prevent duplicate credit grants;
- prevent duplicate purchase redemption;
- recover interrupted operations;
- prevent fraud, misuse, and abuse;
- protect application and backend security;
- troubleshoot technical problems;
- provide customer support;
- respond to privacy and deletion requests;
- comply with applicable legal requirements;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
9. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING
Where the General Data Protection Regulation, United Kingdom GDPR, or similar legislation applies, information may be processed under one or more of the following legal bases:
- performance of the service requested by the user;
- performance of a contract, including delivery of purchased products or credits;
- legitimate interests in operating, securing, and protecting the service;
- prevention of fraud and duplicate redemption;
- compliance with legal obligations;
- consent, where consent is required by applicable law.
Where processing is based on consent, the user may withdraw that consent.
Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn and does not automatically remove purchased products, transaction records, or local data.
10. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND DATA DISCLOSURE
RE Venant may use the following service providers:
- Cloudflare, for backend hosting, networking, security, rate limiting, and storage;
- OpenAI, for generation of hosted AI responses;
- Apple, for App Store distribution, StoreKit transactions, purchase processing, and purchase verification;
- Google, for Google Play distribution, billing, purchase processing, and purchase verification;
- Google Gemini or another configured AI provider, only where a historical Own API mode is available and selected by the user.
Information is disclosed only when reasonably necessary:
- to provide a requested feature;
- to process or verify a purchase;
- to maintain a credit balance;
- to prevent duplicate transactions;
- to secure the service;
- to investigate fraud or abuse;
- to comply with applicable law, court orders, or valid governmental requests;
- as part of a business restructuring, merger, acquisition, or transfer, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
Resonancia Éter does not sell or rent personal information.
Resonancia Éter does not share user information with advertising companies for targeted advertising.
11. DATA RETENTION
Resonancia Éter retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
In particular:
- local recordings, conversations, settings, and reports remain until deleted by the user, application storage is cleared, or the App is uninstalled;
- credit balances and records showing that the initial free allocation was granted may be retained while necessary to maintain the service and prevent repeated grants;
- temporary processing records are normally retained for approximately two minutes while an operation is being processed;
- completed or recoverable AI-operation records may be retained for up to 24 hours to prevent duplicate charging and recover interrupted requests;
- credit-debit records may be retained for up to 48 hours;
- purchase-redemption records may be retained for up to 400 days to prevent duplicate redemption, investigate refunds, chargebacks, errors, or fraud;
- limited technical or security records may be retained while reasonably necessary for troubleshooting, security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance;
- OpenAI may retain API abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days by default, unless different controls or legal requirements apply;
- certain purchase, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, transaction, chargeback, or legal records may be retained for longer where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the service.
When information is no longer required, it is deleted, anonymized, or rendered inaccessible, subject to technical backup cycles and legal obligations.
12. DATA SECURITY
Resonancia Éter uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including:
- encrypted HTTPS connections;
- pseudonymous identifiers;
- restricted backend access;
- server-side purchase verification;
- validation of supported Apple and Google transactions;
- protection against duplicate redemption;
- idempotent operation identifiers;
- rate limiting;
- data minimization;
- secure handling of backend secrets;
- limited technical logging;
- local storage protections supplied by iOS and Android;
- fraud and abuse prevention.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
Absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
13. USER CHOICES
Users may choose not to submit conversation content by not using hosted Ouija or Lucero features.
Users may continue using locally operated tools subject to the access conditions applicable to their version and entitlement.
Where Own API mode is available, eligible users may choose between that mode and hosted RE Credits mode.
Users should review the consequences before deleting the App or clearing its storage, because locally stored conversations, recordings, settings, and identifiers may be lost.
14. DATA DELETION
Users may delete locally stored information by:
- deleting individual EVP recordings;
- deleting saved conversations or sessions using available App controls;
- deleting exported ZIP reports;
- clearing RE Venant application data in Android settings;
- uninstalling RE Venant from an Android device;
- deleting RE Venant from an Apple device.
Uninstalling the App does not necessarily delete server-side credit balances, free-allocation records, purchase-redemption records, or fraud-prevention records.
To request access to or deletion of server-side information associated with a pseudonymous RE Venant identifier, contact:
resonancia.eter@gmail.com
The request should state that it concerns “RE Venant privacy data”.
Because RE Venant does not require an account and does not normally know the user’s real identity, Resonancia Éter may be unable to locate a particular server record unless the user provides the corresponding pseudonymous identifier or sufficient technical information.
Where available, the user should include the support or application identifier displayed by RE Venant.
Reasonable verification may be requested to prevent one person from deleting another user’s balance, purchase rights, or records.
Some purchase, transaction, accounting, chargeback, fraud-prevention, security, or legal records may need to be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the service.
15. USER RIGHTS
Depending on the user’s country or region, the user may have the right to:
- request access to personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to certain processing;
- request data portability;
- withdraw consent;
- lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.
Users in the European Economic Area may lodge a complaint with their applicable supervisory authority.
Users in Spain may contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency where applicable.
To exercise privacy rights, contact:
resonancia.eter@gmail.com
16. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Cloudflare, OpenAI, Apple, Google, and other service providers may process information in countries outside the user’s country of residence, including the United States.
Where required, international transfers are made using legally recognized safeguards, contractual protections, adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful mechanisms.
17. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY AND ADULT CONTENT
RE Venant is not directed to children below the minimum legal age applicable in their country.
The Ouija Terror mode is an optional fictional horror experience intended only for adults aged eighteen or older.
Users must also satisfy any higher age requirement or age rating established by the App Store, Google Play, or applicable local law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum legal age.
If a parent or legal guardian believes that a child has submitted personal information through RE Venant, they may contact:
resonancia.eter@gmail.com
18. ENTERTAINMENT DISCLAIMER
RE Venant is an entertainment application.
