Resonancia Éter ("we", "our", or "us") built RE Compass Pro as a paid application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our app.

1. Information Collection and Use

RE Compass Pro processes the following device sensor data to provide its core functionality:

- Location Data: GPS coordinates, altitude, and speed are used to calculate True North (magnetic declination correction), display your position, and compute solar position (sunrise, sunset, azimuth). Location data is also used to calculate bearing and distance to saved destinations.

- Motion Sensor Data: Accelerometer and gyroscope data are used for the bubble level feature (pitch and roll measurements).

- Magnetometer Data: Magnetic field readings (X, Y, Z components and total intensity) are used for compass heading and magnetic field analysis features.

All sensor data is processed locally on your device. No sensor data is transmitted to external servers, collected by us, or shared with third parties.

2. Data Storage

RE Compass Pro stores the following data locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms:

- User preferences (night mode, haptic feedback settings, True North preference, onboarding completion status)

- Saved destinations (name and coordinates)

- Widget data shared between the app and widget extension via App Group

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

3. Data Recording Feature

RE Compass Pro includes an optional data recording feature that allows you to record compass heading, GPS coordinates, and magnetic field data over time. Recorded data is exported as a CSV file only when you explicitly choose to export or share it. We do not have access to this data.

4. Third-Party Services

RE Compass Pro does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app does not contain ads. The app does not require an internet connection for its core functionality.

5. Children's Privacy

RE Compass Pro does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

6. Links to Other Sites

The app contains links to Apple Maps (when opening destinations) and to our website for support. These services have their own privacy policies that we do not control.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
