About

Gie is a second-year Early Learning and Child Care student who has been in Canada since August 2021. She is also an International Student Mentor for RDP International. During her free time, she likes to paint, care for her plants, and cook. 

Miguel is a second-year University Arts student who has been living and studying in Canada for a year. He volunteers as an International Student Mentor for RDP International and works part-time at the Farside Bar and Grill. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, listening to music, having a cold cup of coffee while reading fiction books, and writing his own fictitious stories. 

Jewell has been pursuing her Business Administration Diploma in RDP since the Winter of 2022. She came from Dubai and arrived in Canada last April. She has not quite adjusted to the cold weather—considering that she came from the desert. Kidding aside, she likes to spend her free time watching series and movies, reading books, and keeping up with her friend's and family's endeavours.

Gianne is a first-year Business Diploma student. With her professional experience and education, she aspires to develop a career in accounting and business analytics. Coming to Canada has been such a welcomed change, and she would like her fellow Filipino international students to feel welcomed and be more engaged inside and outside of RDP. She enjoys long outdoor walks, leisure writing, and binge-watching period dramas and travel documentaries.

Sheryl is a first-year Business student. She came to Canada with her family from the Philippines, where she worked in marketing and advertising for local and international companies. If she's not studying, you can find her enjoying Canada's summer walks with her family. Don't tell her about the freezing cold of Canada's finest...
