Responsibilities
Maintenance of Computer Systems and Local Area Network (LAN): Providing computer maintenance and LAN system support within the institution and across health facilities in the district.
Staff Facilities: Offering internet access and email facilities for staff members to enhance connectivity and communication.
Development of Data Systems and Software: Designing and developing essential data systems and software for departmental needs
Staff Training: Conducting training programs to improve the computer literacy and technical skills of staff members.
IT Services for the Institution: Providing technical support, including shared folders, printer sharing, online meetings, OpenMRS system management, digital signage boards, and telemedicine services.
Graphic Design: Creating invitations, certificates, posters, banners, and other graphic design materials.
Video Production: Developing video clips for health education and awareness campaigns.
Technical Specifications: Preparing specifications for the procurement of IT-related equipment and supplies.
Procurement Committees: Participating in technical committees for the procurement of IT-related goods.
Website Maintenance and Development: Managing and developing the institution’s website (Google Sites) and Facebook page to ensure up-to-date and engaging content.
