We (STAR) first met Rob in 1996, and he came on board as our full time sound engineer in December of that year. For the next 3 years he travelled all over the country with us, using either our own gear or in-house equipment. Rob always strived to get the best sound he could for us at every gig, but was always open to input from other experienced engineers, which only made him better. In our experience, you will not find a more dedicated sound guy, who will always go the extra mile to make sure everyone is taken care of.
Barry Rust - STAR/Yodaclub
"I have worked with Rob on many occasions, and have found him to be consistently professional, ultra-reliable, well organised, hard working, highly knowledgeable, with a sense of humour to boot. He is able to provide quality equipment tailored for the event to suit small venues through to outdoor concerts, but in our experience was just as comfortable using our rig or a venue's in-house PA. Rob has a methodical and proactive approach to both the technical and personal aspects of sound engineering, always striving to please the cast, crew and audience alike. Decent gear, decent guy."
Russ Garner - Angel of Sin / Astradust/Empire States
When with Hard To Handle, Rob was a dedicated sound engineer who always went that extra mile to achieve the best sound possible, always there at the start to help set up and again stayed to the last to help pack all the gear away. A genuine 6th member of the band.
Mick Parker - Hard to Handle
"I have worked with Rob in Hard to Handle and on a more professional level with my wedding and function band. He is one of the most reliable people I know, and I would recommend him as a sound engineer to anyone. He turns up with top equipment, always producing a very professional sound on stage and out front. If you need a sound engineer contact Rob. You won't be disappointed"

"The Rogue Hearts, being a young band with parents trying their best to move them forward, had no experience in PA and with gigs starting to arrive, they needed someone that could supply and 'drive' the gear. First seen in action working the sound for Hard to Handle, it didn't take long to track Rob down. He was approached and very quickly we had sound. The first outing at the Admiral Duncan in Wakefield was utterly impressive - not just the sound, but the organisation and all the added bits that Rob brought.
Rob has helped with providing sound and gear, but he has also advised on the purchase of our own. But that wasn't all - he helped us test it and helped teach us in the dark art of Sound Engineering.
Use him - you won't be disappointed! "
