Have you ever asked your child how their school day was and received a blank stare? To get the real scoop, consider visiting or volunteering in your student’s classroom for an hour (or two) or join them for lunch! One of the RCW PTO’s goals is to get more families involved in the student’s education and the easiest way to do that is to step foot inside the school--see for yourself all the fun being had and the learning going on inside.
Whether you want to give the teacher a break by reading to the classroom or having lunch with your student(s), the steps to do so are easy:
Reach out to your child’s teacher to coordinate a date/time/activity.
If helping in the classroom, contact the District office 320-329-8368 to request a background check be completed prior to visiting (there is no cost & are good for life).
If joining for lunch, call the K-12 office 320-32-8368 by 9:00 am to be included in the lunch count. Only adults may visit for lunch. Meal cash prices - Breakfast @ $3.00 and Lunch @ $5.00

Coordinating volunteers for field trips and projects.
Supporting the teacher with classroom needs and appreciation efforts.
