For communication, our club has to use different systems.
Make sure you signed up for all of them.
1) rotary.at, also known as "Polaris". This is where you get all the events, where you can register, etc.
2) rotary.org, also know as "Rotary International". It is important that all our members sign up for this as well. Please use the same email address as in Polaris. You will find a wealth of information on rotary.org and you can connect to members all around the world.
3) Google Drive. This is our Club data store. For this you need a Google account (which is free of charge, if you don't already have one). Tell our secretary or IT person what your signin email address is, so we can add you to the cloud. You then have access to all our club internal documents, photos, historical information, media, internal analysis and communication doucments, grant applications, etc.
Any member has access to our documents and photos cloud. 😀
Some folders are read-only, like Archived Years and can not be edited.
You are very welcome to request editing rights, just ask Alois or Sascha. Some folders are fully accessable with upload, edit, rename and delete rights. Be careful deleting anything you are not sure about.
The current year's Photos – and activities folder is completely accessible to all members. Set up a folder of an event and make photos straight into this folder using your cell phone camera. (Ask Alois how to set this up.)
If you can only view those folders but should be able to edit, then
make sure you’re logged in with the right Google account and your profile and email is visible in the top right of the Drive page;
if still can’t edit, you can send me your Gmail address that you see in the top right. Your email is your key to the drive and I want to make sure it corresponds to the one i added there.
