Terminal 2 is currently being constructed at the Airport. The terminal itself will house over 15 sponsored food/drink vendors, an expansive passenger terminal with brand new lighting systems, new automated emergency lockdown systems, 32' 30' LED flight information monitors, and so much more. The project is said to take about 2 months. The project's cost is estimated between 2.3 Million Dollars- 3 Million Dollars. With this phase of the project underway, more issues may arise in terms of funding and budgeted money. Along with the new terminal building, the airport will be tearing down the existing Air Traffic Control Tower to implement more cargo parking. The project will also include construction of three airport hotels, a three story parking garage, and an Airport police station.
