2018 Community Outreach Ideas:
Goals:
1. Offer Financial Assistance to a Student to encourage them to join the industry
2. To promote the Awareness of RCI Central Texas Chapter.
3. To promote the Education of Building Envelope Subjects.
4. To support Research and the advancement of Building Envelope technologies.
Outreach #1
2018 Annual Donation of $2,500 to the RCI Foundation, a tax-exempt organization whose mission is to support research, advance education, and disseminate information on issues important to the building envelope industry. RCIF projects may take the form of publications, educational programs, or research. Their success is measured by the number of people they teach and the quality of the research, programs and services they provide.

2018 Canstruction - Team Entry for RCI CTXPromotes Awareness of RCI in our community. Supports Meals On Wheels. Register in August 2018. Construction is November 12th.

Job Shadowing / Mentor Program
Promotes Education in the schools, assists Students potentially entering the industry.
Low cost involvement, short-term commitments. Helps participants develop as employees. Experiences on the job help identify areas for further skill development and can help direct individuals along their future career path. Raises awareness of RCI in the academic world.

Sponsor a Student Trip w/Registration to the 2018 RCI National Convention in Houston, March 23-27, 2018. Promotes Education in the schools, assists Students potentially entering the industry.

2018 Hill Country Ride for Aids - Saturday, April 28th, 2018
Promotes Awareness of RCI in our community. Raises critical funding for ten local AIDS services providers. The HCRA has become the largest HIV/AIDS fundraiser in central Texas.
