Welcome to the Scouts section! Here, we create exciting opportunities to learn new skills, make friends and create unforgettable memories.
Our meetings normally take place every Saturday from 9:00 - 12:00, where we come together as a team to bond with our patrols and have fun. The bonds formed within our group are strong and long-lasting, providing you with a supportive network of individuals who share your interests and passions.
We invite you to become a part of our Scout's section and embark on a journey filled with adventure, growth, and personal development. Whether it's camping trips, community service, or skill-building exercises, we promise you opportunities that will leave a lasting impact on your life.
Join us and discover what it truly means to be a scout!
As Scouts, we constantly get the opportunity to take part in many water-based activities across the year. We do kayaking, skin diving and during summer hikes, we sometimes get to swim the trail rather than walk! It is always a good way to connect with nature as well as push our boundaries. Besides, the view is always spectacular!
An interesting and exciting activity! Bond with your patrol as you wander the streets of Hong Kong. Finding checkpoints, exploring, and bringing home the win!
Pioneering is one of the most traditional Scout skills and involves designing and constructing equipment for practical uses from bridges to swings. We use pioneering skills to build camp gateways or camp gadgets like tables! Our more experienced scouts teach our newer scouts knots and lashings showcasing the best way to build shelters, rafts, gates and even campfires!
Footdrill. A scouting neccessity. The scouts have been honing their marching skills on day 1 and are ready to show it off! Within the past 2 years, 1694 has competed in prestigious Footdrill competitions, successfully securing high ranks against some of the best teams in Hong Kong.
