My work with Saturn's rings is focused on structures in Saturn's dusty rings that are tied to perturbing forces which move near Saturn's rotation rate. Particles in Saturn's dusty Roche Division and D ring are extremely small making them susceptible to non-gravitational forces. In the case of the Roche Division, at the edge of Saturn's main rings, we see a clear relationship between the dusty structures and the time variable rotation rate of Saturn's magnetic field. The D ring, Saturn's innermost ring, is also likely perturbed by mass anomalies in Saturn's interior and atmosphere.
