A few years ago, before I was flying RC planes or making projects, I was taking apart old bits of electronics. This that I took apart include; a tower computer, a printer, a DVD player, a computer monitor and a few other smaller things. I think this really helped in laying a foundation for the projects and learning that would follow. After this I started to learn basic circuitry like how electricity flows and how to construct a basic circuit. By this time I got a Arduino starter kit which taught me more about circuitry but also about programming and microcontrollers. A little later I started flying RC planes and I put the learning to a rest for a while, but just recently I decided that I would read and do all of the experiments in Make: Electronics Second Edition. Now that I am almost done the book I think that I have learned a lot and it really helped me learn some more complex stuff and also some theory on how certain things work and why.
