We could not run a successful Book Fair without the support of our teachers. THANK YOU for making time in your already tight teaching schedules to support the fair. We especially appreciate our Media Center team for letting us take over the space for a whole week!
Each year, teachers at RCF give their classes the opportunity to visit the fair. This year, students are no longer permitted to shop during recess. Therefore, our shopping blocks have been extended slightly (to 30 minutes) to allow for classes to browse and shop if desired. Students who do not wish to shop--or are not prepared to shop--during their classroom visit time have the option to make a wish list.
The link to sign up for your class slots will be sent via email by the school. Please check with Ms. Brown if you have not received it by 11/4/2024.
The classroom sign up schedule will be send to parents via the room parent network so they are also aware when their child is visiting the fair.
One of the ways the book fair supports teachers is by helping to contribute books to your classroom libraries. In our experience, if there is not a list, parents will ask the volunteers what to buy (and we don't know!). So please come and make one. Here's how you can make your list this year:
Stop by the media center at some point on Friday, November 7th. There will be blank "wish list" forms at the wish list center (look for the shelves with the baskets for each teacher). Write down a few books and slip it into your designated basket. That's it!
