Design, Fabrication, and Testing of a Composite Bridge for the SAMPE Student Competition
This project involved the design, fabrication, and testing of a composite bridge structure as part of the SAMPE Student Bridge Contest. The focus was on optimizing structural efficiency, weight-bearing capacity, and material performance using advanced composite materials. The bridge was constructed with strategically selected fiber reinforcements, core materials, and resin systems to enhance strength-to-weight ratio and failure resistance.
Part of the Power Racing Series project involved designing, modifying, and racing an electric vehicle built from a repurposed children's ride-on toy. The competition challenged the team to develop a low-cost, high-performance vehicle within a $500 budget, incorporating customized electrical and mechanical components to enhance speed, durability, and efficiency.
