Peter Smith

Peter Smith is a graduate from Memorial University's Psychology program. Under the supervision of Dr. Darcy Hallett, he completed his undergraduate thesis, “Children’s Conceptual and Procedural Understanding of Fractions: Individual Differences in Learning Profiles.” He became interested in mathematical development through Dr. Darcy Hallett, the lead researcher of RCDMC. Through his research, he has become acquainted with the theories of knowledge development, and has gained a greater understanding of fractions learning, in particular.
