Krystle is a graduate of the Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) program at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Her main interest during her studies was in the realm of child psychology. Krystle worked under the supervision of Dr. Darcy Hallett, where she assessed the dispositional and environmental factors associated with math anxiety. Specifically, this study is explored both the potential relations between the big five personality traits and math anxiety, and the influence of different kinds of math experiences with math anxiety.
Krystle received her Bachelor of Science (Hon.) from Memorial University in 2009. During this time, she worked under the supervision of Dr. Sarah Francis, completing an undergraduate thesis which examined the role of marital status, socio-economic status, and level of parental education on the levels of child-reported anxiety, anxiety sensitivity, and depression.
