Kelly Aung

Kelly began as a volunteer in the lab in 2016 and has since completed a directed studies with Darcy and a MUCEP as a research assistant. For her directed studies, she collaborated with Nadine Yildiz, a Master’s in Experimental Psychology student, to examine the effects of a mindfulness intervention on Math Anxiety in grade 4 and 5 students. She has also assisted Dr. Cheryll Fitzpatrick in conducting her research using an eye tracker studying how people process math word problems.
