Anna George

Anna is currently completing her Master's degree in Experimental Psychology with a focus on the development of mathematical cognition in children.

Anna’s past education is based in Nova Scotia where she completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology. Anna’s undergraduate thesis project explored the benefits of mindful-based activities which led to a further interest in mindfulness.

Anna’s current thesis project aims to determine if a classroom-based mindfulness program will help improve student’s mathematical anxiety and emotional regulation. Additionally, Anna is working on developing an educational learning application to help decrease student's screen time while improving their mathematical skills.
