Avinash is a full-time post-graduate Public Policy student (in Science, Technology, Innovation, and Development) at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He possesses an interdisciplinary background, with a bachelor's in Urban Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal and his post-graduation in Politics (with a specialization in International Relations) from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He is passionate about questions at the intersections of antitrust, internet policy, data protection, and privacy concerning big techs. He is currently working on a dissertation topic - "Regulating Big Tech: A Data Governance for India," wherein is trying to build a comprehensive data protection framework for India. He also writes a weekly newsletter - "The Tech Policy Wrap," wherein he discusses contemporary events around competition, antitrust, data, and algorithms from a policy perspective. Previously, he interned in diverse sectors ranging from urban planning to sustainability consulting with Sattva Consulting, Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (Government of Assam), and Aarusha Homes Pvt. Ltd.

Ainesh is an IIT Delhi student pursuing a master's degree in public policy. He earned his IT engineering degree from Hyderabad prior to this. He successfully completed the technology entrepreneurship program offered by the Indian School of Business. During his engineering, he was selected as the first Google DSC lead from his college, and coordinated globally with Google Developer Student Clubs to institute peer-to-peer learning initiatives in engineering colleges and formulated solutions for local and everyday problems by partnering and coordinating with businesses around Hyderabad. In addition, he co-founded The Coding Culture, an entrepreneurial effort that attempted to instill a competitive programming culture in India. He has also worked for an ed-tech firm in the field of product management, and he hopes to leverage technology to solve social problems which is where his interest in public policy stems from.
