How I evaluate running backs

🧠 Why Fantasy Points Per Touch (FPPT) in Full-PPR matters: it strips opportunity out of the picture and isolates what a back actually does with the ball. It's the first filter — not the only one. Then I layer in skill sets and starter-upside math.

Starter Upside, defined: finishing Top 24 in full-PPR points (RB1 = 1–12, RB2 = 13–24) at least once within Years 1–4 of the rookie contract. That's the bar. Not "intriguing." A real Top-24 finish inside the rookie window.
